About this site
Aiyara Thai is closed. The food was too good to forget — this page is a tribute, faithfully rebuilt from the original Flash site preserved in the Internet Archive.
If you were one of the owners, family, or staff of the original Aiyara Thai in American Fork — or if you simply know what happened to the restaurant or where the family went — please get in touch. I’d love to hear the story, and whether the recipes are still being cooked somewhere I can drive to.

Thai food is internationally famous for being healthy. The herbs used in Thai cooking don’t just provide unique flavor — they each carry varying degrees of medicinal and therapeutic benefit. Low in calories, rich in taste.
Aiyara’s recipes lean on fresh vegetables, lean proteins, lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime, Thai basil, garlic, ginger and chili — ingredients prized in Thai households for generations for digestion, immunity and overall vitality.
Many dishes can be made vegetarian by choosing tofu or vegetables in place of meat. Spice level can be adjusted to taste — just ask.
